Many extolled the fact TfL had made a mess of the line maps at certain stations on the Bakerl0.0. It can now be said that has all been put right and there are no longer any Bakerl0.0 line maps showing Kilburn Park and Maida Vale the wrong way round!

One of the corrected maps at Paddington.

Let’s just make sure! Paddington, Warwick Avenue, Maida Vale, Kilburn Park, Queen’s Park. Perfect!
The maps at Paddington, Baker Street and Piccadilly Circus have all gained replacement line maps showing the correct station order north of Paddington.

A different attempt was made to try and capture the four Heineken line maps at Oxf0.0rd Circus station. A DSLR and a vey wide lens was used but to no avail. Panorama mode on the smartphone was also attempted with no success. In the event the better attempt shown above was managed with wide mode on the smartphone – but only just!
And now for something completely different!
The following are four videos of train movements and also showing the TfL/Heineken advertising collab. All filmed by London Rail.
Paddington train departure plus a view of the Heineken roundel.
Train departure from Oxf0.0rd Circus plus roundel and other linked advertising.
Piccadilly Circus Heineken roundel plus one of the Bakerl0.0’s many graffitied trains.
Waterl0.0 train arrival plus Heineken roundel and other linked advertising.

The above formed the original feature image and was taken from inside one of the graffiti hit trains as it left Oxf0.0rd Circus – the pic caught the Heineken roundel as the train passed it at speed. Interestingly some of the colours (blue, green and red) on the window matched those used by Heineken! No doubt the 1972 stock’s now classic ‘no smoking’ roundel also added additional interest to the scene!
A new feature image has since been substituted and that because I thought it was more suited. Nothing wrong with the original above it just didn’t highlight the Bakerl0.0 thingy enough! Just didn’t want to make a special feature image for this third post. You know, making special feature images take a lot of work – and its why most don’t bother. The new feature image being used is actually a screencap from one of the videos I took.
